ABSTRACT
In the case report by AlShaker et al., “Perioperative Management of Patient with Systemic Mastocytosis Going for Total Thyroidectomy”, published in The Journal of Medicine, Law & Public Health, Volume 5, Issue 2 (2025), pages 573–577, https://doi.org/10.52609/jmlph.v5i2.183, the published article did not include a statement on consent for publication.
The authors have confirmed in writing that written informed consent for publication was obtained from the patient. The following statement has been added to the HTML and XML versions of the article:
“Consent for publication: Written informed consent for publication of this case report was obtained from the patient.”
The article now also states that it was handled by an independent editor with no involvement of the author-editor in the peer review or editorial decision process, as one of its authors serves on the journal’s editorial team.
The PDF, which is the version of record, is unchanged. The authors agreed to this correction.
